The AntWarrior Logo in full colour!I had my AntWarrior set on 24th March 1999 - two days before my 32nd birthday! This photo was taken just 3 weeks later and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it still looks as colourful on my 42nd, 52nd, 62nd etc. birthdays. The Ants first ever performance on Top Of The Pops (doing Dog Eat Dog) is the still the most memorable debut performance I have ever seen of any band on that show. I bought the single, saw the back of the picture sleeve and knew that one day it would end up permanently etched on my body (I was 13 at the time!) 19 years later I got the courage to go for it. Amazingly, when I nervously showed the back of an Adam and The Ants picture sleeve to the huge, bearded, Harley-Davidson riding tattooist, his eyes lit up and he told me how one of his first "jobs" was to paint it onto a punks leather jacket just before The Ants made it big! He was thrilled to be working with the design again and I am over the moon with the result. Hope you like it!
